After spending 22 years in the in the game of cricket, The GOD has said that he will play the game as long as he enjoys the game.He has played each and every format of the game. He has seen the game evolved over two decades from Test Cricket to ODI cricket to T20 cricket to IPL to Champians League. But now there are signs that he might be stepping out of the game he loved so much to do better things for the Billion people who adore him.
Sachin has sworn in for Rajya Sabha recently. After the ceremony he said he will continue to play the game until he enjoys it and then come and serve the people as a MP. Since the tenure for a Rajya Sabha MP is 6 years it is difficult to predict exactly when he takes the decision to quit the game. He would sure wants to make impact and represent the people in Parliament. But in order to make a change he should definitely need to spend more time to get in to groove as an MP.
Being a leader is not an easy thing in a huge country like India. There will be many people who will throw stones at you but you have to convert them into milestones. Sachin has always held himself and
managed himself well on and off the field. But this is a different ball game altogether. Not to forget sachin leadership skills where not that great while he led Indian Cricket Team. He was always a Captain’s player. He has many individual records to his name like 100 International Hundreds, Highest run getter in both forms of the game, Most hundreds in both forms of the game. But to get similar kind of results in Politics is not easy.
We all know that he is capable of doing good things. He wants to serve the people, entertain the people, care for the people and most importantly respect the people both on and off the field. He is someone who can inspire the entire nation. He is capable of bringing the new change.
Only time will say how these things unfold. Better wait and see!!
